Still picking a tier? Just call us.
Tell us how many trucks, where you run, and what you’re hauling. Five minutes and we’ll tell you which plan actually puts more in your pocket.
Things the 5% leaves alone
Pass-through cash never counts. If you fronted the lumper, paid the toll, or got a TONU for a load that never moved, that money is yours. We only take a cut of what you actually earned hauling freight.
Fee does NOT apply to
- Lumper fees you advanced (pass-through)
- Tolls and fuel-tax reimbursements
- Loads you decline (no fee charged)
- Accessorial charges (TONU, stop pay, etc.)
- Permit fees (oversize, overweight, route)
Stuff drivers actually ask us
If your question isn’t here, call 571-576-7104. We’d rather answer it now than have you wondering at the truck stop.
When and how do I get billed?
Invoices are issued every Friday for loads delivered in the prior seven days. Payment is due within 7 calendar days of the invoice date by ACH or wire.
You’ll also receive a weekly settlement statement showing every load, gross revenue, our fee, and any pass-through deductions. Full reconciliation to the dollar.
What if I decline a load? Do you still charge?
No. Our fee only applies to completed loads. If you decline a load we sourced (for any reason, no explanation needed), there is zero charge.
Same goes for loads that get cancelled by the broker or fall through before pickup. No load delivered, no fee.
Why charge a percentage instead of a flat fee?
A percentage aligns our incentive with yours: when your load pays more, we earn more. A flat fee would mean we earn the same whether your load pays $1,500 or $3,500, which removes our motivation to fight for top-dollar rates.
If you prefer predictable monthly billing, our Flat Rate plan gives you that. It’s typically a better fit for high-revenue carriers running 8+ loads a week.
Can I switch plans later?
Yes. Switch any time, no penalty. As your operation grows from one truck to a small fleet, or if you decide flat-rate is a better fit, just let us know and we’ll roll the change forward to the next billing cycle.
Plan changes don’t reset any history with us. You keep your dedicated dispatcher and broker relationships.
How do I cancel if it’s not working?
Just let us know in writing. No early-termination fee, no clawback on completed loads, no penalty.
Loads accepted before the termination date complete on their original terms, and any outstanding fees on those loads remain due. After that, we part ways cleanly.
Do you take any payment from brokers (kickbacks, referral fees)?
No. Meridian does not accept undisclosed payments, referral incentives, or rebates from brokers or shippers. Our only revenue from your truck is the disclosed dispatch fee.
That means when we negotiate a rate, we negotiate for your margin, not ours.
What does Enterprise pricing actually look like?
Enterprise pricing is structured around your specific operation, typically 6+ trucks, with rate tiers based on monthly load volume. Plus dedicated team allocation.
